Vision 2020: Youth Empowerment & Restoration Initiative (YERI), is an Industry Awareness Initiative which commenced in May 2006. The ultimate aim of Vision 2020 YERI is to increase Nigerian Content in the service industry, by training more Nigerian professionals and vocationals between now and Year 2020. We believe that through appropriate investment in capacity, capability and competence development of our youth, most especially in the area of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM), Nigeria can strategically become the primary supplier of globally certified skilled resources in STEM driven industries. Our goal is to see Nigeria become the hub for excellence for STEM professionals and one of the top 20 countries by the year 2020 through education, enlightenment, empowerment, engagement and entrepreneurship in STEM and high – Technology industries.
